As you know we have had to accept the Government’s offer today and have done so reluctantly in the absence of a clear alternative.
We know that we would not be receiving any offer if it was not for the tireless, dedicated and honest work provided by you.

I am personally sorry that we were not able to continue as part of the team and see the job through to its conclusion.

It has been a privilege for us to have met with you and thank you for the work you have done to get this result. Rarely do we meet people such as yourselves who will put the needs of others before their own.
